A new generation of artists are taking over the Holy Grail of editorial. The old establishment have missed the train…

We, at the Daniel Bauer Makeup and Hair Academy believe in shaping careers of our students by providing unparalleled portfolio shoots to them. These setups give our students a great experience of working in editorial shoots. Just one of the reason why we can prove to be the best makeup academy in Delhi. More than saying it, we prove it.

When students are accepted into this academy, their biggest aspiration is to make it big in this industry, and we firmly believe that the only way to make this happen is by having a long-term- learning approach. It is completely focused on personal development, and it refers to the learning that occurs outside of a formal educational institute. That is exactly the philosophy behind the Daniel Bauer Academy.

Our students did this stunning shoot for a luxury bridal magazine for British Asian couples across the UK — Khush Magazine and it couldn’t have gotten any better. They had this amazing opportunity to collaborate with some of the most celebrated designer labels and jewellery brands of our country. Having the reputation for being the best makeup academy in India certainly helps when finding these collaborations.

The designers who were a part of this shoot were, Falguni Shane, Tarun Tahiliani, Gaurav Gupta, Rahul Mishra and Sahil Kochhar, with jewellery brands like AKM Mehrasons Jewellers, Khanna Jewellers, and Archana Aggarwal.

DBA students have aced every look from flawless glowing sun kissed skin, to sculpted cheekbones, to dark shimmery eyes, bold liners, and the quintessential messy bun, to elegant open hairstyles.

These artists surely did strike a perfect balance between modern day and traditional Indian bridal.

Mankirat, for example went for a straight up shimmery statement eye with a dab of glitter on the lids and played it down with a nude lip and a textured ponytail whereas Sonal and Akriti let the easy breezy wavy hair and beautiful long eyelashes do all the talking.

Pashmeet went all out and created a very stylish pink smudged wing on the eyes with a messy bun while Edna hit the spot with the most chic sleek side parted up-do and the classic cat eye.

Well, who doesn’t want a Bella-Hadid-inspired middle parted hairdo? Our beloved Vidhu did this sexy up-do which went so well with deep dark contoured eyelids and glossy baby pink lips while Hunar killed it with two fantastic looks going from soft shimmery eyes to a deep dusky pink monochromatic look that we just can’t get our eyes off.

Shot by a renowned fashion photographer, Meetesh Taneja, this world class photoshoot definitely helped advance the careers of all our artists involved.
